On the occasion of 210 years since the death of Vasa Carapic, one of the most prominent fighters in the uprising against the Dahi, Their Royal Highnesses attended the memorial service and laying of wreaths at the monastery of Rakovica. After the church ceremony, Their Royal Highnesses, Andreja Mladenovic, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade and representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army laid wreaths at the monument to Vasa Carapic in Francuska street.

The anniversary of the death of the great hero and defender of Belgrade was organized and visited by many members of the Carapic family from all over Serbia.
