Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited today Novi Kozarci in the municipality of Kikinda. During this visit, the Royal Couple donated a car for patient transport for treatment to the local Health Centre, and distributed food and household utensils for 60 socially vulnerable families. The funds for the purchase of the car and humanitarian aid were provided by the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago, whose Patron is Crown Princess Katherine. The exhibition “The Arrival of the King” was organized at the “Wings of Angels” Fine Art Association gallery, in honour of the upcoming 70th birthday of Crown Prince Alexander.

Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine first visited the church of the Prophet Elijah in Novi Kozarci. Beside the priest and a large number of citizens, they were welcomed in the churchyard by the Head of North Banat County Mr. Nikola Lukac, the President of Kikinda Municipal Assembly Mrs. Aleksandra Majkic, the Mayor of Coka Mr. Ferenc Balázs, as well as by Mr Milan Reljic, the President of the “Wings of Angels” Fine Art Association.

In the courtyard of the Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah, the Crown Prince and Princess delivered 60 food parcels and packages with personal hygiene and household utensils to the vulnerable families in Novi Kozarci, that were provided thanks to Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago, whose Patron is Crown Princess Katherine.

Mr. Milan Reljic, the President of the “Wings of Angels” Fine Art Association from Novi Kozarci welcomed the Royal Couple at the gallery of the Association, and Crown Prince Alexander opened the exhibition “The Arrival of the King” which displayed portraits of the members of the Karadjordjevic dynasty that were painted by the artists from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia and Serbia. The exhibition was organized in honour of the upcoming 70th birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander.

“Such events contribute to cherishing our cultural and artistic heritage, which is an integral part of our tradition and our identity. Thank you for the great efforts you are putting into presenting our country in the best possible light, through art and culture” – emphasized Crown Prince Alexander in his speech.

Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited the Health Center in Novi Kozarci, which is under the jurisdiction of the Health Centre in Kikinda. They donated a passenger car for the transport of patients to this institution, which has also been provided thanks to Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Chicago, whose Patron is Crown Princess Katherine. Crown Princess Katherine said that she was very happy that thanks to her humanitarian organizations she was able to help health institutions across Serbia and the Republic of Srpska and that she was especially proud of the fact that the Foundation’s humanitarian assistance is not bypassing smaller towns and villages across Serbia, because Serbia is not just the cities, but also the villages such as Novi Kozarci.

Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine also visited today the winery “Coka”, one of the most successful wineries in the Balkans, which has 112 year long tradition of wine production.
