His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II has become an honorary member of the Club of Friends of the International Police Association in Novi Sad today.

Mr Milorad Petkovic, President of IPA Serbia said that HRH Crown Prince Alexander II was awarded for his support to International Police Association (IPA) and immense contribution of Karadjordjevic Royal Family to the State of Serbia over the last two centuries. His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Srem, Mr Milos Vucevic, Mayor of Novi Sad, Mr Ivan Vlatkovic, vice – president of Pink Media Group, Prof. Dr Marko Carevic, Prof. Dr Stamenko Susa, Mr Milorad Veljovic, director of Police and Mr Zoran Mladenovic, president of Srbobran municipality also received this honour.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II thanked for the award and emphasised: “I am very glad that Serbia is connected with the world in the field of police cooperation. We all know how the importance of the citizens’ security has increased in today’s world. The role of the police in our everyday lives is increasing, and that is why it is very good that there are associations like yours. Every step on the way to improve the conditions of police work deserves support and praise of the whole society. I wish you to continue to serve the citizens through friendship and to promote the work and reputation of the Serbian police, both at home and abroad.”

The International Police Association (IPA) is the international organization of police professionals with over 400,000 members in 64 countries.
