LECTURE ON CAREER PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT BY JASNA MATIC

Belgrade, 19 January 2007 – Mrs. Jasna Matic Director of the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency SIEPA www.siepa.sr.gov.yu held a lecture on Career Planning and Development yesterday at the Faculty of Law.

The lecture was organised by the Centre for Career Development and Counselling Services of the University of Belgrade in cooperation with the Foundation of Crown Prince Alexander for Culture and Education.  

After the introductory words about importance of thoughtful approach to building ones career and life long learning, Jasna Matic guided the students through all the phases of the career development through the example of her own case and experience.

The Students were generally interested in opportunities for internships and for advice regarding decision making which would effect their personal development.

The Centre for Career Development and Counselling Services of the University of Belgrade will regularly organize similar encounters of professionals from the business sector and students and graduates of the University of Belgrade.

We would like to use this opportunity to announce that on 24th January 2007 the guest of the Centre will be Mrs. Edel Green Advisor in Education area from Ireland.

The aim of the Centre for Career Development is to assist students, but also to motivate them so as to approach seriously their professional development advancement.
