THE MEDAL FOR THE AGRICULTURAL MERIT |
The Medal was instituted on 15 March 1930 by
the Law about Agriculture. It was awarded in three Classes (Gold, Silver
and Bronze Medal), and was aimed to recompense those awarded premiums at
the agricultural contests, as well as those that significantly contributed
to the improvement of crops or agricultural techniques. The Class corresponded
to the competition level (County Competition qualified for Bronze Medal,
Regional Competition for the Silver one, and State Competition for the
Gold Medal). The medal was worn suspended from the half yellow - half green
ribbon. |
