THE COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF THE FIGHTINGS FOR THE NORTHERN FRONTIER
OF YUGOSLAVIA |
The Medal was instituted on 10 October 1939,
to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the fightings for the Northern Border
of Yugoslavia (in what is now Slovenia). The Commemorative Medal was awarded
to all ranks of military personnel that took active part in border fightings
in 1918-1919, those directly engaged in the field wore the Medal suspended
from red ribbon edged blue and white, while those that did not participate
directly in the field used blue ribbon edged red and white. |
