The Medal was sponsored and commissioned by
several organizations in Belgrade to commemorate the Ascension of King
Peter I to the Throne of Serbia, and 1st Centenary of the First Serbian
Uprising, in 1904.
The Medals is well designed and beautifully struck, and displays in
obverse the effigies of Karageorge and Petar I. |
