THE MEDAL FOR THE ZEALOUS SERVICE |
The Medal for Zealous Service was instituted
on 19 April 1913. It consisted of Gold and Silver Medal, and was bestowed
upon officers, NCOs, enlisted men and civilian personnel for faithful and
zealous wartime service, as well as for assistance given to the Serbian
armed forces during the war. In 1922 the scope of awarding was broadened,
and Medal was from that time awarded for excellent and loyal service in
the time of peace as well.
The Medal was worn suspended from the blue ribbon. |
