THE CHARITY CROSS |
The Cross (also known as "Misericordia Cross")
was founded on 7 May 1913, and was bestowed upon men and women, Serbian
or foreign nationals, for having eased the suffering of the sick and the
wounded during and after war. It was awarded to Serbian military personnel,
to Red Cross and civilian personnel, as well as to the volunteers.
The Cross was worn suspended from pale blue ribbon. |
