After the wedding of their son Prince Philip, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine organized a humanitarian lunch at the White Palace in aid of children hospitals in Serbia.
“My husband Crown Prince Alexander and I have been helping our health system and hospitals for 25 years, with a focus on children hospitals and help to children. Needs in hospitals in Serbia are great and all the help is welcome. I am very happy that International schools, banks and individuals, as well as representatives of Lifeline offices, have responded to our appeal. I would like to inform you that we will donate 4 hospital sterilizers worth 1.5 USD in total in the future. These machines will be donated to hospitals in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin i Kraljevo. In addition, we have donated a digital mammography machine worth 30,000 USD to Clinical Center in Nis. I hope that we will be able to help another children hospital after this event” said Crown Princess Katherine.
