Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted traditional Christmas receptions for more than 1,000 children without parental care, at the White Palace.

Children without parental care, Roma children, refugee children and children with disabilities, aged three to twelve, from homes and associations throughout Serbia, had the opportunity to rejoice Christmas together with Their Royal Highnesses at the White Palace. Vicar Bishop of Patriarch of Serbia – Bishop of Remesiana Stefan explained to children the true meaning of Christmas and its significance.

During the day, three receptions were held where the children enjoyed wonderful gifts and Santa Claus, the animators from the ensemble “Cigra”, as well as a music program by the Sabac diocese choir “St. John the Theologian” as well as “Carolija” choir.

Numerous friends and representatives of Lifeline Humanitarian Organizations helped their Royal Highnesses deliver the gifts to the children.
The receptions were greatly helped by Lifeline Chicago and Lifeline Canada Humanitarian Organizations, whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine, as well as by numerous donors, among which are embassies of Palestine, Finland and the Republic of Lebanon, Dr. Christopher Thurber, companies Mozzart, Evro Book, Kika socks, Nursery garden – Veliki Šiljegovac, Marbo Product, Rauch, CG
