On behalf of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander, Mr Dragomir Acovic, chairman of the Crown Council, attended the marking of the 200th Anniversary of death of Supreme Leader Karadjordje today at St. George Church in Oplenac in Topola, and laid a wreath on the tomb of leader of the First Serbian uprising (1804), the founder of modern Serbia and the Karadjordjevic Dynasty.

Wreaths were laid by HE Mr Zoran Djordjevic, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, representatives of the Ministry of Defence, Army of Serbia, Topola Municipality, Mr Dragan Reljic, manager of King Peter I Foundation in Oplenac, representatives of Association of preserving traditions of liberation wars until 1918 and other admirers of Karadjordje.
