ICON PAINTING CENTER “ST. ANDREW THE FIRST CALLED“

HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II PATRON OF THE CENTER SINCE OCTOBER 2003

Founded by a group of young people devoted to the opening of Serbia to the World and to include it in the process of integration and globalization. The centre was founded in 2000 and they use the icon painting Centre “St. Andrew the First called”. The aim of the centre is to preserve Serbian cultural heritage as a top national priority in the process mentioned above and in the centuries that are ahead of us.

The vocation of the Icon painting Centre “St. Andrew the First called” contains icon painting, wall painting, miniatures, encaustic, engraving, conservation and translating.

The name of the centre is a sign of deepest respect for the Karadjordjevic Family
