ROYAL BELGRADE RUGBY CLUB

HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II PATRON OF THIS CLUB SINCE JUNE 1993

The Royal Belgrade Rugby Club was founded 20th December 1982, the second day of St. Nicolas, by a group of enthusiastic people like the game.

The first name of the club was “Belgrade Rugby Club” and the symbol was a sparrow on a rugby ball. The main idea was to develop and popularise this game and work with youth.

By a decree of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II in 1993, the Club was renamed to “Royal Belgrade Rugby Club” and the symbol is The Crown of The Karadjordjevic Family.
