Greece-Serbia Business co-operation
At what level can business transactions between Greece and Serbia-Montenegro be classified as satisfactory and what are the motives of Greek business executives at present regarding further investments on Serbian grounds? The answers will be given on 9 and 10 February at the Greek-Serbian Conference which will take place at the Athens Hilton Hotel, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Development and the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Economic Affairs.
Many distinguished Greek and Serbian business executives will attend the Conference as well as political personalities, while salutations will be delivered by Anna Psarouda-Benaki, Speaker of the Greek Parliament, and by the heir of the Yugoslavian throne, Alexander, who will highlight the importance of promoting Greek-Serbian economic transactions in the Balkan region. The President of the Republic of Serbia, Boris Tadic, as well as the Serbian Ministers of Energy, Economy, Tourism and Agriculture, will fully inform the audience regarding the promotion of investment activities in Serbia.
This Conference is organised by the non-profit organisation “Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organisation”, the ‘soul’ of which is Princess Katherine of former Yugoslavia who is loved in Greece for her efforts in highlighting the importance of the Greek-Serbian friendship in order to achieve peaceful coexistence and economic development.
Renowned Greek businesses and organisations such as the National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Coca Cola, the Hellenic-American Chamber, the Federation of Greek Industries and others are co-sponsors of the Conference. It is important to mention that business experiences of Greeks and Serbians will be presented analytically at the Conference and specific economic programmes will be suggested.
