Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine together with her grandson Michael and sister Mrs Betty Roumeliotis visited today Clinic for gynecology and obstetrics of Clinical Center of Serbia in Visegradska Street and donated air conditioners that were necessary for the department of gynecology at this institution. Thanks to Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation floors that have been in very bad conditions were refurbished, and during her last visit on 8 May 2015 Princess Katherine donated an ultrasound machine with three probes worth 30,000 EUR, and in September she will donate another ultrasound machine for the second unit. She saw then that air conditioning machines in this ward didn’t work, and that floors were in bad condition, and she promised to solve these problems. Princess Katherine has officially fulfilled her promise, so now these units are fully operational, for the benefit of patients and medical staff. Director of the Clinic Professor Aleksandar Stefanovic explained that clinic needs very much autoclave for dry sterilization, and Princess Katherine said that she would soon provide this machine as a present on the occasion of Crown Prince Alexander’s birthday.

Beside air conditioning units, Princess Katherine donated today two transportation beds with mattresses, blankets, pillows, bed sheets, hygienic items and diapers. All these items were provided thanks to diligent work of Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is Princess Katherine.

Princess expressed her gratitude to “Flux Pro” Company from Zemun and “Energy Net” Company from Kac, who helped with provision of air conditioning units for the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics and Clinical Center “Dr Dragisa Misovic” that will also receive necessary air conditioning units.

Princess Katherine emphasized that her husband Crown Prince Alexander and she will continue to support this health institution in the future, like they have done so far.
