Royal Couple at Humanitarian Ball in Cvijeta Zuzoric Pavilion

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended this evening a humanitarian ball at the Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric in Belgrade held under auspices of Mrs Dragica Nikolic, First Lady of Serbia and organized by the Association of fine artists of Serbia for reconstruction of the Art Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric.

There were also present Mr Nedeljko Tenjovic, secretary general of Presidency of Serbia, Mr Bratislav Petkovic, Ms Jasmine Mitrovic Maric, Mr Jovan Cirilov, members of diplomatic corps  and many others.

Art Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric was founded by the society of the same name in the 1920’s after the initiative of the famous Serbian writer Branislav Nusic. Their Majesties King Alexander I and Queen Maria, grandparents of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II were great supporters of the Pavilion and they bought many paintings and art works that were exhibited there over the years during traditional spring exhibitions for their Royal Palace and as gifts for many museums in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
