Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended the premiere of the documentary film “Forgotten Admiral” about the British Admiral Sir Ernest Trubridge, the bearer of the most important Serbian military and civil decorations, at the Yugoslav Film Archive. Part of the film, as well as an interview with Sir Tom Trubridge, the great-grandson of the main character of the film, were shot at the Royal Palace in Dedinje earlier in the year.

The premiere was also attended by HE Mr. Denis Keefe, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Serbia, Mr. Nenad Neric, State secretary at Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Mrs. Sladjana Zaric, the author of the film and the editor of documentary programmes of RTS, Mr Ilija Cerovic, acting director of Television of Serbia, as well as by many distinguished guests from the world of arts and culture.

The documentary film “Forgotten Admiral” is a biographical story of the British Admiral who, as commander of the British Mission, came in 1915 to Belgrade, the capital of the Kingdom of Serbia, and remained with the Serbian army until June 1919. The film was shot as production of the RTS, the Embassy of the United Kingdom and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
