HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EXPRESSES HIS SATISFACTION REGARDING THE DECISION OF 27 EUROPEAN UNION LEADERS
Belgrade, 2 March 2012 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to the citizens of Serbia regarding the decision taken by the 27 European Union leaders last night in Brussels to grant Serbia European Union candidacy status.
“Serbia has made an important step forward in the process of joining the European Union. The leaders of all European Union countries, together with the European Commission and European Parliament have recognised that Serbia is determined to continue its’ economic and democratic reforms, developing European and regional stability, and joining the family of European nations as an equal and trustworthy member. We must be aware that a lot of hard work is still ahead, but also that all we do is for the benefit of all citizens of Serbia”, emphasised the Crown Prince. |
