HIS ROYAL HIGHNESSES CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ATTEND OPENING OF THE 34th FAIR OF TOURISM

Belgrade, 23 February 2012 – His Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II attended today the official opening of the 34th Fair of Tourism at the Belgrade Fair. The Royal Compound is traditionally presented at the Fair of Tourism in Hall 4. The fair was officially opened by H.E. Mr. Nebojsa Ciric, Minister of economy and regional development, and there were also present Mr. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourist Organisation, Mrs. Petra Hedorfer, direcor of the Tourist Organisation of Germany and President of the European Tourist Commission, Mr. Ozgur Ozaslan, State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, and numerous guests and exhibitors.  

The 34th International Fair of Tourism is held under the motto “Around the world in four days”, and the partner country this year is Turkey.
The 34th Fair of Tourism has gathered almost 900 exhibitors from 46 countries.

In cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade and thanks to the kind permission of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II the Royal Compound will be once again open for tourists from 1 April until 31 October 2012.

This year’s Fair of Tourism is a great opportunity for domestic and foreign visitors to be introduced to the historical and cultural heritage of The Royal Compound.

From Thursday, 23 February to Sunday, 26 February visitors to the Belgrade Fair of Tourism can visit The Royal Compound stand in Hall 4.
