Belgrade, 3 June 2011 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince

Palace tonight for the representatives of Maxim Business Club (MBC)
from France
and Switzerland. The dinner was also attended by H.E. Mr. Bozidar Djelic, Deputy
Prime minister, H.E. Mr. Erwin Hofer, Ambassador of Switzerland to Serbia, Mr.
and Mrs. Xaviere Givaudan, President of the Swiss branch of MBC, Mr. Jean

member of MBC and currently residents in Belgrade, who had a very important role
in organizing this event. There were 23 members of MBC present at the dinner,
together with representatives of the French business community in Serbia, Mr.
Jacques Morand, country manager for Hyatt, Mr. Patrice Filoche, President of the
French – Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and many other important guests.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander warmly welcomed the guests, and
wished them a pleasant stay in Serbia. He emphasized that Serbia needs to
develop trade and financial ties with France and Switzerland, and welcomed the
distinguished guests to explore possibilities of investing in Serbia.
MBC was founded in 1968 by a group of young Parisians at the
beginning of their careers. Today the club has over 900 members, 650 in Paris
who’s president is Prince Poniatowsky and 250 in the Geneva branch presided by
Xavier Givaudan. Their successful careers as presidents of industrial,
commercial, scientific, media, literary and political entities permit weekly
events to take place. Mr. Xavier Givaudan and Mr. Gérard Le Roux, a longtime
member of MBC (presently a resident of Belgrade) organized this trip to Serbia
which they found to be unjustly unknown while offering fabulous potential in
many areas, be it financial, touristic or cultural. |
