ROYAL COUPLE AT PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK “ORTHODOX DIALOGUES AND FACES” AT THE PATRIARCHY

Belgrade, 23 February 2012 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the presentation of the book “Orthodox Dialogues and Faces” at the Patriarchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade. The presentation was held under auspices of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.

Event was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije, His Grace Bishop Atansije of Hvosno , the Ambassadors of Russia, Macedonia, Belorussia and Ukraine as well as representatives of Serbian branch of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations (IFUOCN) that published this book, and representatives of Russian embassy in Serbia.

The international Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christian Nations (IFUOCN) was founded in April 1995 with the blessing of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Alexi II, who was the head of the Trustee Council until his death in 2008. Today His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia heads the Trustee Council of IFUOCN. The Foundation was created and acts for the purpose of strengthening the ties of spiritual brotherhood of the Orthodox people and stimulating their efforts in cultural and social cooperation.

In 2008, HRH Crown Princess Katherine received the award from IFUOCN for her “outstanding activities on strengthening the unity of Orthodox people”.
