ROYAL FAMILY AT 24th BELGRADE MARATHON AWARDING CEREMONY
HELD AT CITY HALL
Belgrade, 26 May 2011 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander attended
today the awarding ceremony for the 24th Belgrade Marathon in City Hall.
His Royal Highness received a certificate on behalf of his
son, HRH Prince Philip who ran the 24th Belgrade Half Marathon raising funds for
children with disabilities.
At the ceremony awards for support and contribution were
delivered to: Municipality of the City of Belgrade, Ministry of Youth and
Sports, Mr. Aleksandar Sapic, Mr. Zeljko Ozegovic as well as many other
companies, individuals and media representatives.
For great humanitarian endeavours awards were delivered to
HRH Prince Philip Karadordjevic, Ana and Vlade Divac Fund, Alliance Red Cross
Serbia, Nurdor, Roche and Delta Generali Insurance.
Prince Philip, his friends Ms. Lucy Attwood, Ms. Anna-Rose
Martelli, participated in the Half-Marathon, while their friend Mr. Daniel
Cartwright ran the whole Marathon to raise funds and sponsors for HRH Crown
Princess Katherine Foundation which will be used to help disadvantaged children
in Serbia.
Prince Philip and the Royal Family would like to thank
everyone that supported this endeavour: Polimark doo, Megatrend University,
