ROYAL FAMILY AT THE OPENING OF “ARMED FORCES IN
PEACEKEEPING MISSIONS” EXHIBITION
Belgrade, 26 May 2011 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine together with Mr. Dusan Babac, member
of the Privy Council attended tonight the opening of the “Armed Forces in
Peacekeeping Missions” exhibition, which took place at the Military Museum in
Belgrade, on the occasion of the International day of United Nation
Peacekeepers.
The exhibition was officially opened by H.E. Mr. Dragan
Sutanovac, Minister of Defense. There were also present Lt. Col. General Miloje
Miletic, Chief of staff of Serbian Army, numerous military attaches of foreign
countries and other distinguished guests.
This exhibition is focused on 14 peacekeeping missions that
soldiers of the Yugoslav Army and Serbian Army took part in, from the first
mission in Sinai Peninsula to current missions. The exhibition consists of
photos, videos, uniforms and personal items of our soldiers who took part in
those missions. |
