ROYAL COUPLE AT ZUBIN MEHTA WITH BELGRADE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA CONCERT IN DUBROVNIK 

Belgrade, 27 August 2011 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended tonight the opening of “Julian Rachlin and Friends” Festival of chamber music in Dubrovnik, featuring the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zubin Mehta and with Julian Rachlin, violin, Maria Kuhar – Sosa, soprano and Ipca Ramanovic, baritone.

The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra performed a Concert for violin and orchestra in D major, op. 77 and Symphony No. 2 in D major, op. 73 by Johannes Brahms.

The festival of chamber music will take place from August 27 through September 8.
