VLADE DIVAC AND THE ROYAL FAMILY DELIVER HUMANITARIAN AID AGAIN

Belgrade, 31 August 2004 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine and our celebrated basketball ace Vlade Divac visited Arandjelovac and Topola today, where they delivered medical equipment and an ambulance to the Health Centers.

The Health Center in Arandjelovac received an ECG machine and a neonatal incubator, and the one in Topola got a new ambulance “Lada Niva” and a ECG. The total value of the donated equipment is € 30,000.

During the delivery, HRH Crown Princess Katherine said: “The condition for any kind of future are the children. That is why this time we are helping Serbia to be a mother, thanks to our great athlete Vlade Divac. Let us breathe in life to Serbia.”

Last October, TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine rallied the funds for the incubators at the dinner organized in Mr. Divac’s restaurant “Tunnel 21” in Sacramento, USA. This incubator is just one out of three that our basketball player is going to donate to our health institutions, assisting in that way to the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and the program of the Serbian Orthodox Church “Let Us Breathe in Life to Serbia”.

“My wife and I, together with the people of big heart and good will like Mr. Divac, are always ready to help our people” – emphasized the Crown Prince Alexander II in his speech in Topola.
