HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II FIRMLY CONDEMNS THE TERRORIST ACT IN NORTHERN OSETIA Belgrade, 3 September 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II has sent a letter of condolences to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade HE Mr Vladimir Jevgenijevic Ivanovski, on the occasion of the hostage situation in Northern Osetia. “It was with great distress and grief that I took the news of the horrible terrorist act in the town of Beslan in Northern Osetia. My wife and I are deeply shocked and we firmly condemn this appalling act of violence. Please extend the expressions of my deepest sympathy to the President Mr. Vladimir Putin, families of all victims and all injured, as well as to all citizens of the Russian Federation. Struggle against terrorism as the global evil must have full support by all the governments in the world, as well by everybody who care about the future of our civilization” – emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter of condolences.
