THE MEETING OF THE MINISTER OF
DIASPORA AND Belgrade, 9TH September 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II met today in The Royal Palace in Dedinje with HE Minister for Diaspora, Vojislav Vukcevic and the representatives of this Department: Mr. Alexander Cotric, Miodrag Jaksic and Miodrag Bozovic. HRH Crown Prince Alexander II greeted the present and stressed that, during the conversation with Minister Vukcevic and the representatives of the Department for the Diaspora, he opened several interesting questions which need the engagement of the proper institutions, because solving of the problems is of the fundament importance for our people who live abroad. “Only by common efforts and work of the representatives of all of the political parties, we can reach the scores we wish, if we are talking about Diaspora”, said the Crown Prince. Minister Vukcevic represented the Crown Prince a proposal of the law for Diaspora, which deals with the questions of the citizenship of our people and the military service for our citizens who are under military obligation, but are out of the country. This was a unique opportunity for the Crown Prince to meet with the rest of the activities of this Department. “It is of great importance and effort not to forget all the citizens in Diaspora who are supported by the Crown Prince Alexander II, who knows himself the destiny of the Diaspora” – Minister Vukcevic emphasized. Today `s meeting was attended by the representatives of the Advisory Departments of the Crown: Mr. Dragomir Acovic, Mr. Vladimir Gajic and Mr. Dragan Zivulovic.
