ILLINOIS TRADE DELEGATION AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 28 October, 2004 – Members of the Crown Council hosted a dinner at The White Palace in honour of an Illinois Trade delegation headed by Mr. Desko Nikitovic the Consul General of Serbia and Montenegro in Chicago.

The delegation, beside our Consul General, consisted of the Deputy Director of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vladimir Petrovic, as well as the representatives of the numerous companies including Mr. Louis Milicich (Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal LLP Global Law Firm), Mr. Eddie Stowe (AAR Corporation premier supplier of products and services to the worldwide aviation/aerospace industry).

H.E. Mr. Milan Parivodic the Minister for Foreign Economic Relations, Mr. Sinisa Nikolic the Director of the Agency for building and reconstruction of Belgrade and Mr. Aleksandar Vlahovic representative of the Economy Institute also attended the dinner.

Special attention was paid to cooperation development and improving conditions for foreign investments as well as commerce and economic development of our country. The next step is will be the establishing of the regional office of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade, which would be in charge for the whole region of the Eastern Europe.
