THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES PRESENT AT THE OFFICIAL DINNER IN HONOUR THE VISITING AMERICAN SENATORS AND SPOUSES

Belgrade, 10 November 2004 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine were guests at the official dinner in honour of the visiting American Senators that was given last night by HE President Boris Tadic of the Republic of Serbia.

The dinner took place at the Presidential House of Serbia. Present were Their Royal Highnesses, Senator Mr. Gordon Smith from Oregon, Senator Mr. George Voinovich and Senator Mr. Mike DeWine from Ohio, Senator Mr. Chuck Grassley from Iowa and Senator Mr. Michael Enzi from Wyoming. Also present H.E. Mr. Michael Polt the United States Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro and H.E. Mr. Ivan Vujacic Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to the United States. The dinner also included HE Mr. Vuk Draskovic Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro, Mr. Prvoslav Davinic Minister of Defence of Serbia and Montenegro, HE Mr. Milan Parivodic Minister for Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Serbia and Mr. Nenad Bogdanovic the Mayor of Belgrade. The dinner also included spouses.

This was the unique opportunity for friendly talks and possibilities for faster integration of our country into the Euro – Atlantic area.
