THE SPECIAL ANTI-TERRORISM FORCES CELEBRATED THEIR SLAVA Belgrade, 21 November 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II, accompanied by the member of the Crown Council professor Dragoljub Kavaran, attended the Slava celebration of Saint Archangel Mikhail, the Patron Saint of the anti–terrorism forces. On behalf of this elite unit Commander Milovan Glisovic warmly welcomed The Crown Prince and Professor Kavran and invited them to attend the cutting of the Slava cake together with the Minister of Police, Mr. Dragan Jocic and the head inspector of MIA of Serbia, Mr. Vladimir Bozovic. Special anti terrorism forces (SAF) were founded in 1995 and are a part of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They are in charge of the most complex Police tasks, a fight against terrorism and organized crime, as well as of a protection of people and buildings under immediate threats. Beside Crown Prince Alexander II, Minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Dragan Jocic and the head inspector of the MIA of Serbia Mr. Vladimir Bozovoc, the representatives of the SCG Army, representatives of the Embassies of the United States and Israel, political parties and numerous friends of this elite police unit also attended the celebration. At the end of this visit the Crown Prince spent some time talking to the Unit members, who took this opportunity to be photographed with His Royal Highness.
