WORLD AIDS DAY

Belgrade 30 November 2004. – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II sent a letter of support to the Resident Coordinator of UNDP Mrs. Nikola Harrington on the occasion World AIDS Day 1 December.

“’On the occasion of World AIDS Day, observed 1 December, I join Secretary-General Kofi Annan in speaking up loud and clear about HIV/AIDS in tearing down the walls of silence, stigma and discrimination that surround the epidemic.

We must keep AIDS at the top of our political and practical agenda. I commend all your hard work in rallying international awareness’’ – emphasized the Crown Prince in his letter.
