A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE STATE UNION OF SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO MR. SVETOZAR MAROVIC

Belgrade, 3 December 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II has sent a letter to H.E. the President of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Svetozar Marovic regarding the threatening letters he had received:

“A news, reported in our media, that you had received anonymous letters threatening you with death because of your attempts to enable the Hague Tribunal to proceed with its work has horrified me. I am a true opponent of the violence in any form and I strongly condemn even a thought of it. I sincerely believe that those ones behind such loathsome threats will be soon caught and punished accordingly.

Please accept my sincere respect and support of your efforts to govern our country in the right direction and of everything you are doing for the wellbeing of people” – stresses the Crown Prince in his letter.
