THE JEWISH HOLIDAY – HANUKAH CONGRATULATIONS

Belgrade, 7 December 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to H.E. the Ambassador of Israel Mrs. Jafa Ben – Ari for the Jewish holiday Hanukah.

“I convey my warmest congratulations to you and to all members of the Jewish community for Hanukah, a great celebration of Light, hoping that the eternal light of the Creator’s wisdom will light up our lives, beam them with a noble spirit of community and direct us to the path of the Lord’s law” – the Crown Prince mentioned in his letter of congratulations.

The Crown Prince also sent congratulations for the Hanukah holiday to the Great Rabbi of Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Isaac Asiel, the President of the Union of the Jewish municipalities Mr. Aca Singer, the President of the Banja Luka Jewish municipality Mr. Joseph Atijas, the President of the Belgrade Jewish municipality Mr. Mirko Levi, the President of the Subotica Jewish municipality Mr. Franjo Pericic and the President of the Novi Sad Jewish municipality Mr. Tihomir Ungaru.
