CHRISTMAS EVE AT THE ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 6 January 2005 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine, together with Princess Philip and Alexander, celebrated the Christmas Eve at The Royal Palace at Dedinje.

Traditional ignition of the Yule log was performed in front of The Royal Palace, which was consecrated by Father Panayotis, representative of the Greek Orthodox Church, with a concordance of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle.

Beside Their Royal Highnesses, members of the Guard Brigade, employees of The Royal Palace, numerous representatives of the media were present during the ignition of the Yule log, after which, in the spirit of the tradition, a short reception for the present was organized at The Royal Palace.
