REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRIES OF CULTURE FROM VARIOUS COUNTRIES VISIT HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II

Belgrade, 21 January 2005 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II received representatives of the Ministries of Culture from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey who are visiting our country.

The Crown Prince warmly welcomed the guests and pointed out that the rich heritage of our countries, and their cooperation, can contribute a lot to the establishment of improved friendly relations, as well as to the opening of new possibilities for cooperation with mutual benefits.

“Our task is to work together on establishing better cooperation and quicker development in the region. There are some of our neighbors, here among us, whose countries have already became members or will become members of the European Union. Congratulations! I hope that our country will soon find its place among in the European Union”- emphasized the Crown Prince.

Beside HRH Crown Prince Alexander II, members of the Advisory Bodies of the Crown: Mr. Dragomir Acovic, Professor Nikola Moracevic and Mr. Dusan Babac were present at this meeting. After a short reception, the guests toured of The Royal Palace and The White Palaces and familiarized themselves with the historical and cultural importance of this unique complex.
