EFG EUROBANK HOSTS RECEPTION FOR THE ZVECANSKA CHILDREN

Belgrade, 27 January 2005 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine were the honourable guests at the Hyatt Regency Hotel www.belgrade.regency.hyatt.com for the Slava of the Centre for Protection of Children and Youth in Zvecanska. The reception was organized by EFG Eurobank www.efgeurobank.co.yu.

Dr. George Lychnos the director of EFG Eurobank addressed the guests and children and explained the activities of his bank among which a priority is the interest for children.

To the joy of everyone, HRH Princess Katherine addressed the children and the officials and said in her speech:

“Children are our greatest fortune and our future. The obligation of all of us is to make sure that children are always healthy and that they are have a good childhood. EFG Eurobank is one of the greatest donors to my foundation. I thank them from all my heart, because their help is always assigned to those children who need it most. The New Year and the beautiful Christmas tree brought luck and new hope that next year will be better than the last one. I have to point out that EFG Eurobank, the Centre in Zvecanska and the Foundation are constantly cooperating, and the joint goal is to be always there for children. Dear children, I wish you a Happy Slava and thank you for making us happy. We will try to be always there for you. I congratulate all you from the bottom my heart”- then the Princess and invited the Crown Prince to greet the children.

“I am very pleased to see these joyful and delighted children faces”-said the Crown Prince and expressed his thanks to EFG Eurobank for creating a more secure future for the little children from Zvecanska.

As the host and the organizer of the event “The most beautiful Christmas Tree”, in which EFG Eurobank won the first prize, Mr. Edward Andrews, director of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, pointed put that his hotel will also be a host of these kind of events in the future, to the joy of the children.

On behalf of the Centre for Protection of the Babies, Children and Youth in Zvecanska Mr. Milan Samardzic, the deputy of director of the Centre, expressed his gratitude to Their Royal Highnesses, Dr. Lychnos the director of the EFG Eurobank, Mr. Andrews the director of the Hyatt Regency Hotel for helping the children and the Centre.
