SUCCESSFUL ECONOMIC CONFERENCE
HOSTED BY CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER
CONCLUDES IN LONDON
London 18 April 2005. - The
conference hosted by HRH Crown
Prince Alexander at Claridge’s Hotel
concluded in London this afternoon.
The conference was deemed very
successful with the attendance over
one hundred important business
representatives of the United
Kingdom from the Banking,
Construction, Advertising, Energy,
Insurance and Telecommunications
sectors.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander welcomed
everyone and introduced Dr Milan
Parivodic who addressed the
conference explaining in detail the
economic and legal situation in
Serbia. This was followed by Mr
Danko Djunic who went into detail
about privatization and other
economic issues. The audience asked
numerous questions about the
opportunities available in our
country. Following the conference
luncheon was served.
The conference was attended by His
Excellency Ambassador Dragisa Burzan
of Serbian and Montenegro. The
former Chancellor of the Exchequer
(Minister of Finance) of the United
Kingdom Lord Nigel Lawson was
present and so were many leaders of
the United Kingdom business
community. The former Minister for
Europe Sir Nicholas Bonsor was also
present.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander warmly
thanked everyone and mentioned that
Serbia looks forward to seeing the
participants in our homeland.
