He said that it is a great honor and responsibility for the club to carry the name of the big commander ‘’Karadjordje’’, and expressed his hope that the members of the club would be able to justify that honour.

Opening the Fencing Club “Karadjordje”, The Crown Prince emphasized:

''Sport and tradition, which you cherish, are part of the heritage that we are rightfully proud of. We no longer consider it to be a combating skill, but a discipline that builds decisive spirits, nurtures beauty and speed of movements; it makes the physical and healthy state of organism stronger, stimulates friendship, and enhances emotions of galantry in relationships with others and the discipline of oneself.'' Afterwards, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II delivered written recognitions to the most commendable members of the club and wished them all great success in the future.
