OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE FENCING CLUB ''KARADJORDJE''

Crown Princess Katherine, officially
opened the Fencing Club
“Karadjordje” in Pancevo, which
is under the patronage of
HRH
Crown Prince Alexander
II.
The
Royal couple was warmly welcomed by
Mr. Djordje Vlajic along with
members of the Fencing Club ’’Karadjordje’’,
who did not hide their pleasure of
having Their Royal Highnesses as
their guests. He said that it is a
great honor and responsibility for
the club to carry the name of the
big commander ‘’Karadjordje’’,
and expressed his hope that the
members of the club would be able to
justify that honour.
Opening
the Fencing Club “Karadjordje”,
The Crown Prince emphasized:
''Sport
and tradition, which you cherish,
are part of the heritage that we are
rightfully proud of. We no longer
consider it to be a combating skill,
but a discipline that builds
decisive spirits, nurtures beauty
and speed of movements; it makes the
physical and healthy state of
organism stronger, stimulates
friendship, and enhances emotions of
galantry in relationships with
others and the discipline of
oneself.'' Afterwards,

the most commendable members of the
club and wished them all great
success in the future.
