VISIT TO THE HEALTH CENTER AND HOME FOR ELDERLY IN VRACAR, BELGRADE  

Belgrade , 28 April 2005 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine visited the Health Center in Vracar today, on the occasion of the Day of the Center.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by Dr Snezana Stevanovic, Director of the Center, and Mr. Dragi Velickovic, Vice-President of the Municipality of Vracar .

Congratulating the Day of the Center at Vracar, HRH Princess Katherine addressed the present:

“My husband and I came to visit your institution for the first time today. I am very glad to see that your institution is one of the rare ones that are in good condition. I hope that you will continue with good and qualitative treatment of your patients, and that you will set the example for all the other institutions in your Municipality. “

After the visit to the Health Center Vracar, The Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine visited the Home for Elderly “Vracar”, where they were welcomed by the Director, Mr. Petar Misic. Their Royal Highnesses visited the institution, introduced themselves with the everyday life of the elderly who live there, and gave them food and hygienic items as presents.

“My Foundation tries to help not only the children, but also the elderly as much as it can, because they are also in need of love, warmth, and human help” –Princess Katherine emphasized in her addressing. 

Wishing everyone a very happy Easter, Princess Katherine expressed her hope that the conditions of life in the future will get better, and that they can always count on the help and support of The Royal Family.
