EASTER VISIT TO THE ELDERLY AT THE
GERONTOLOGY CENTER IN BEZANIJSKA
KOSA
Belgrade, 2 May 2005 – Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Princess Katherine
visited the Gerontology Centre in
Bezanijska Kosa, and put a smile on
the faces of the elderly in the
Centre by delivering to them, on the
occasion of the most joyful holiday
- Easter, Easter eggs and a donation
of food to the center.
Their Royal Highnesses, who were
visiting this institution for the
first time, were welcomed by Mrs.
Milojka Boskovic, with the staff and
the elderly who live in this Centre.
HRH Princess Katherine greeted
the present with the Easter
salutation: Christ is risen, and
pointed out that the elderly are
very important for our community,
because they are meritorious for
everything we are now.
“The obligation of all of us is
to take care of the elderly, in the
way that we would like someone to
take care of us someday. My husband,
The Crown Prince Alexander and I
will try to help more in the future,
and we will never give that up” –
emphasized Princess Katherine.
Afterwards, Their Royal
Highnesses visited the elderly who
live in this institution and spent
time chatting with them. They gave
them Easter eggs as presents and
this way enhanced this most joyful
Christian holiday.
