editors-in- chief of the Serbian
media
Belgrade, 25 May 2005.- Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine organized a buffet dinner
at The White Palace in honour of our
media which was attended by the
owners, directors and editors in
chief of the news agencies, radio
and television stations from
Belgrade and of the regional
stations, printed media, public
relations agencies, as well as Mr
Dragan Kojadinovic, Minister of
Culture of the Republic of Serbia
and members of The Advisory Bodies
of The Crown.
The present were addressed by HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II, who on
behalf of his wife, and on his own
behalf, expressed his great
gratitude to all those responsible
for the fact that the public was
informed in time about everything
that they were doing and performing
for the people.
“You, esteemed representatives of
the media, are the ones who
developed the democratic processes
in Serbia by your
independence”-pointed out The Crown
Prince and added:
“I believe that it is very hard
for you to recall the difficult
moments and unsolved murders of your
colleagues, Slavko Curuvija, Dada
Vujasinovic, Milan Pantic, Dusko
Jovanovic, and others, as well as
the tragic deaths of your colleagues
from Radio Television Serbia during
the bombing. However, let us pay our
respects to them because they were
fighting for the right to inform,
and let us persist in this effort,
with which together, we will create
a better civil democratic society”.
