LETTER OF SUPPORT AND CONDOLENCES
REGARDING THE FLOODS
IN THE SOUTH-WEST OF CHINA
Belgrade, 10 July 2005 – HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II sent a
letter of support and condolences to
HE Li Gio Bang, the Ambassador of
China in Belgrade, on the occasion
of the humanitarian catastrophe
caused by the heavy rain in the
south-western China.
Crown Prince Alexander II
extended his condolences to the
Government of the Republic of China
and to the families of the citizens
that tragically lost their lives and
were injured:
“With great sorrow I received the
news about the severe storm that
caused the unprecedented floods in
the south-west of the Republic of
China. I am truly saddened by this
tragic phenomenon that has had a
great consequence on the lives of
the people and infrastructure of
this region.
I am sending my deepest
condolences to You, to the
Government of the Republic of China,
and to the families who suffered a
loss, and wishes for all the injured
to get well soon”.
