LETTER OF SUPPORT ON THE OCCASION OF THE STORM IN KRAGUJEVAC

Belgrade, 10 July 2005 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II sent today a letter of support to Mr. Veroljub Stevanovic, Mayor of Kragujevac, on the occasion of the severe storm that hit the population of the city of Kragujevac and caused several smaller fires and damage to the infrastructure and the homes of the citizens.

“With great sorrow I received the news about the severe storm that was caused by a strong cyclone, which caused fires and floods with heavy consequences to the infrastructure and the crops in the area of Kragujevac. I expect that the state authorities and emergency crews will do everything that is in their power to save the injured and to restore the damage. “

I am sending you my sincere support and to the families of the injured citizens, to whom I wish a quick recovery” - pointed out Crown Prince Alexander II.

Crown Prince Alexander II also sent a letter of support to the Zastava Factory - mechanical works, where a couple of fires broke out.
