official opening of the Festival of

the Fortress of Nis.
The official opening of one of
the most significant and oldest film
festivals in our country began with
a reception and cocktail in the City
Hall. On that occasion a
retrospective exhibition was opened
to celebrate the four decades of the
Festival of Acting Accomplishments
in Nis.
The bystanders then moved to the
summer stage at the Fortress. The
honour to officially open this
year’s jubilee film festival in Nis,
was given to actress Mira Stupica.
Traditionally, the Mayor of Nis
handed the keys of the city to the
president of the three-member jury,
which this year consists of Mrs.
Mira Banjac, Ms. Katarina Zutic and
Mr. Miodrag Krivokapic. The
multi-awarded film “The Grey Truck

the program of the 40th festival of
Acting Accomplishments in Nis, which
this year includes 11 domestic
