THE CHANCELLERY OF
Their Royal Highnesses, H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander and H.R.H. Princess Katherine received participants of the humanitarian action "MOBA 2001" at the Royal Palace, Dedinje. The participants of this action were our young people living abroad, and spending one month traveling throughout their homeland. They are helping in construction of two monasteries and being introduced with the most important places of interest and events of the history of our people. Welcoming them, H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander said that he was delighted to see that the young people were getting together in their homeland. H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander has expressed the desire to see their humanitarian action become tradition, and to see their number grow each year. Today's reception was rather interesting, because of the fact that this was the first time after 60 years, that the door of the Royal Palace was opened for the public. After the reception, the guests and their host H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander addressed the media in front of the Palace. Along the participants were the representatives of "MOBA 2001" board, Bishop Lavrentije for Sabac-Valjevo area and Mr. Milan Kljajevic, an assistant to Federal Foreign Minister. Bishop Lavrentije thanked God for the fulfillment of his wish to visit H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander at his home. August 4th, 2001 Belgrade |
