CONGRATULATIONS OF HRH CROWN PRINCE
ALEXANDER II ON THE 200TH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
THE SERBIAN GOVERNMENT
Belgrade, 26 August 2005 – His
Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II extended his
congratulations to Dr Boris Tadic,
President of the Republic of Serbia,
Dr Vojislav Kostunica, President of
the Government of Serbia, and Mr.
Predrag Markovic, President of the
National Assembly, on the occasion
of the 200th anniversary of the
establishment of “Praviteljstvujesci
sovijet srpski”, the first
government of the renewed Serbian
State.
In the congratulation letters,
The Crown Prince Alexander II
expressed his pride of the deeds of
our ancestors, and his belief that
it is the foundation of our present
awareness of an obligation to
preserve and improve what we have
inherited in order to save the house
of Serbian State and leave a stable
and strong institution for
posterity. The Crown Prince also
expressed his conviction that the
immortal spirit of the Supreme
Leader Karadjordje and the strength
and dedication of all those great
names of our history are still
living in our people, and represent
a constant source of inspiration and
strength to endure in service to the
righteousness and the ideal of a
society of freedom, rights and
equality.
