FOUNDATION OF HRH CROWN PRINCESS
KATHERINE ENABLED THE PARTICIPATION
OF FIVE STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF
LAW IN BELGRADE
AT A TWO WEEK EDUCATION CAMP IN
GREECE
Belgrade, 1 September 2005 –
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine, in cooperation with the
Foundation of HRH Crown Princess
Katherine, enabled and organized the
participation of five students from
the Faculty of Law of the University
of Belgrade at a summer education
camp organized by the “European
Public Law Center” from
Greece.
The project “KIKONES –Education
of representatives and youth coming
from the Balkan and Black Sea
countries on the Rule of Law and
democracy” has been financed by the
Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
and this education camp is being
held from 28 August until 11
September in Maronia, near
Thessalonica.
As great advocates of human
rights and democracy, Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II
and Crown Princes Katherine
wholeheartedly support the
development of democracy and the
Rule of Law, and through these kind
of actions wish to demonstrate how
important the education and training
of our youth and their cooperation
with colleagues from the region is.
We hope that the selected students,
who will attend this two week
education camp in Greece, will come
back with new experiences and ideas
which they will have the opportunity
to apply in our country.
