THE
NEW INCUBATOR FOR GYNECOLOGY CLINIC
Belgrade, 22 September 2005 - HRH
Crown Princess Katherine accompanied
by Mrs. Candice Rosen, head of the
Belgrade-Chicago Twin Cities
Project, Mrs. Kathy Fanslow and
Mrs.Janja Djujic visited the
Gynecology Clinic in Narodni Front
Street and delivered a donation – an
incubator for the neonatal ward.
The incubator is a donation of
Mr. Nikolas Papapostolou, a man with
a great heart and a friend of Their
Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine.
Princess Katherine was warmly
welcomed by the Director of the
Clinic, Professor Slobodan Runic
with his closest associates, and
expressed his gratitude to Her Royal
Highness Crown Princess Katherine
and said that Their Royal Highnesses
are the biggest benefactors of this
hospital.
Presenting the incubator, HRH
Crown Princess Katherine said: “It
is clear that the future is up to
our children and that a little life
becomes a big life on the very first
day. That is why this device plays a
great role in creating the future of
our children. My husband, Crown
Prince Alexander and I hope that
this donation will save many lives”.
Mrs. Candice Rosen said that she
is very happy that she is also in
Belgrade as a delegate of the City
Mayor of Chicago, one of the most
powerful City Mayors in USA, “who
spread his hand to Belgrade, and I
hope that Belgrade will accept that
hand in the best possible way”.
