ROYAL DINNER ON THE OCCASION OF THE
SISTER-CITY PROJECT

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine hosted a dinner tonight at
The White Palace on the occasion of
the Belgrade – Chicago Sister-City
Project and their guests from the
United States.
Their Royal Highnesses’
distinguished guests from the United
States Mrs. Candice Rosen, the head
of the project, Mrs. Kathy Fanslow,
a representative of the Lifeline
Foundation under the auspices of
Princess Katherine, and Mrs. Janja
Zujic, a professor of medicine in
Indiana, USA, are on an official
trip to Belgrade and have been
visiting a number of the city’s
medical and social institutions.
Beside the guests from the US,
the dinner was also attended by Mr.
Tomica Milosavljevic, Serbian Health
Minister, His Excellency Michael
Polt, US Ambassador to Serbia and
Montenegro with his wife, Mrs.
Radmila Hrustanovic, Deputy Mayor of
Belgrade with her son, Mr. Nenad
Borojevic, Director, Institute for
Oncology and Radiology, Clinical
Center of Serbia, with his wife, Mr.
Aleksandar Ljubic, Deputy Director,
Institute for Gynecology and
Obstetrics, Clinical Centre of
Serbia with his wife, Mrs. Ida
Jovanovic, Director, Tirsova
Children’s Clinic with her husband
and Mrs. Leda Gofas, Royal Palace
Educational Program Coordinator.
Their Royal Highnesses, his
Excellency Ambassador Polt and
Minister Milosavljevic agreed that
the cooperation between Belgrade and
Chicago in all walks of life was
extremely important and that the
project was an excellent opportunity
to further improve that cooperation
in future.
